Project Description:
Saceem, in consortium with GUINTOLI, a company of the French NGE Group, is in charge of the project “Riparian Defenses of the La Leche River and Motupe River”, which aims to restore the well-being and improve the quality of life of the citizens affected by the Phenomenon of El Niño Costero of 2017, in Peru.
With the aim of putting an end to the fear that rivers and streams generate in the population every time their flow increases or is activated at the beginning of the year, the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes (ARCC) promotes the execution of comprehensive solutions for the flood control of 19 rivers on the country's coast, 5 streams and storm drains in 7 coastal cities.
The consortium will be in charge of developing the design and execution of protection works in the La Leche River and the Motupe River, through an NEC option F contract, which is carried out within the framework of the Government to Government agreement that the ARCC (Peru) performed with the United Kingdom. This enables the transition to a project with a transparent, efficient and high-standard process like those that we at Saceem and GUINTOLI always implement.
