Project Description:
At km. 273 of Route 5, town of Peralta, in the Department of Tacuarembó, the Peralta GCEE Wind Farm (Peralta I and II) is located.
The project consisted of the execution of two simultaneous wind farms of 25 windmills each. Their structure is different from the rest of the wind farms, since they are made of post-tensioned concrete up to 55 meters high and, then, of a metal structure. This means that the center of its foundation must be accessed in order to post-tension the concrete segments, adding complexity to it.
Saceem, in charge of the park's civil and electrical works, carried out different tasks. Among them:
– 35 km of access road.
– 50 foundations for mills.
– 50 platforms for mounting the mills.
– 35 km of medium voltage lines.
– Peralta sub station.
– Park measurement and control post.
– 5 km high voltage line, metal structure foundations and line laying.
– Expansion of Palmatir Sub Station.
– Laying of the second shortlist between Palmatir and Bonete 35 km.
– Expansion of Bonete Sub Station.
