Project Description:

The work carried out by the Saceem – Cujó consortium involved the executive project, the civil, hydraulic and electrical works, the construction of the underwater outfall, the supply of equipment and electromechanical assembly, the operation and maintenance of the works built during the period. of one year. A maximum of 150 people worked on its construction and the project took approximately 380,000 man hours.

Main components of the work:
– Construction of concrete works: pumping well, pretreatment unit, 3 reactors with a total capacity of 20,869 m3, 3 settlers with a diameter of 33 meters, dry pumping wells, UV disinfection unit. More than 6,000 m3 of reinforced concrete were executed.
– Building for offices, chemical house, laboratory and electrical premises.
– Metal structures. Roof shed of 1,775 m2.
– Trenching and laying of ductile iron pipes up to DN 900 and HDPE pipes up to DN 800 millimeters.
– Construction of the outfall: with a land section in FD DN800 mm of 660 meters in length and underwater section in HDPE DN900 mm of 144 meters.
– Supply and assembly of electromechanical equipment: pumps, blowers, sweeping bridges, mechanical grilles, valves, gates, as well as measurement and control instruments.
– Electrical assemblies: general substation, panels, low voltage network, lightning rod system, exterior lighting, protections and control. Includes SCADA system (acronym in English that means: Supervision, Control and Data Acquisition System).
– Construction of access roads from Av. Catalina Harriague to the plant facilities, internal maneuvering area and access (concrete and bituminous pavements).
– General conditioning of the property.
